About the Course:
This course provides an overview of financial management tools and techniques used in analyzing and developing strategies for making personal and corporate financial decisions. Topics include stock and bond valuation, asset allocation, portfolio diversification, personal investment and corporate investment (capital budgeting) strategies.
Instructor: Dr. Qingfeng "Wilson" Liu, James Madison University
Dr. Wilson Liu is currently an assistant finance professor at James Madison University. He received his MBA degree from the University of Kansas and Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Oklahoma. He has taught many different finance courses in the University of Oklahoma, University of Redlands (California), and James Madison University. He has also published numerous articles in academic journals. His academic interests include financial derivatives, investments, and Chinese financial markets and system.
